For the project

The "My Caves" project aims to modernize, promote and help in the exploitation of caves on the territory of Bulgaria and Greece. It is implemented in partnership between the Municipality of Madan and the Tourist Association "Rhodopeia" from the Bulgarian side and the Municipality of Nea Zichni from the Greek side. Within this project, a total of four caves were modernized. 

The purpose of this site is to show you the improvements in the two caves on the Bulgarian side - Yagodinska and Sharenka cave. 

New LED lighting has been installed in both caves, making the visitor experience much more exciting because they can enjoy the cave formations much better.
